 From its looming second-story perch, this Valley eatery offers luminous ambience akin to a Vegas show. A giant patio lit by flaming torches paves the way for well-coiffed patrons into the banquet hall and jazz stage. The Italian-inspired menu is sprinkled with a handful of French dishes and fresh seafood. Salmon with pistachios is served aside pesto-whipped potatoes, and filet mignon is drizzled in a peppercorn sauce. Creme brulee is one among many desserts..

 When they say the BEST Happy Hour in Town, they mean it. Servers walk around and offer gourmet pizza, peeled shrimp, chicken enchiladas, and many other wonderful dishes. Selection of drink specials and the bartenders take care of you! The steaks (try the NY Strip) was outstanding. Largest and best baked potato ever. There is nothing not good about this place. Pleasant crowd, non pretentious and fun atmosphere.

Just steps from the beach, Michi's high ceilings, dim lighting and barren walls set the stage for romance, but the noise level is high since the crowded bar teems with singles hoping to get noticed. Luckily, premier service makes up for the meet-market madness.

Tight quarters and plain decor accommodate mostly takeout orders, but there are a few counter seats and outdoor tables. Chefs steer clear of lard and MSG in their farmers' market-fresh fare. The house specialty is free-range roasted chicken wihth a choice of coconut, citrus or Indian-spiced marinade. Dover sole is prepared with cilantro and coconut, and pork spare ribs are slathered with homemade barbecue sauce. Daily side dishes include mashed sweet potatoes, cheesy polenta and mixed field greens.
