Atlanta Road, Contract 1 – Widening from Windy Hill Road to Austell Road to be constructed as a five-lane urban roadway. Includes an underpass to Dixie Avenue under CSX Railroad between Daniell Drive and Ledford Street. Fall 2001.

Atlanta Road, Contract 2 – From Austell Road to South Cobb Drive will be constructed as a five-lane urban roadway. Includes a new bridge over CSX railroad tracks. A portion of Atlantic Avenue will be relocated. Summer 2002.

Cowan Road Extension – Widening and new construction of a 3-lane roadway from Main Street to Cherokee Road (SR 92). Includes a new roadway and railroad bridge and relocation of railroad tracks. Summer 2002.

East-West Connector, Phase 5 – The segment from Atlanta Road to South Cobb Drive (SR 280) will improve as a 4-lane divided roadway. December 2001. 

Main Street Acworth – Widening and new construction from SR 92 to Nance Road. Includes a portion of Southside Drive and widening of existing bridge at Tanyard Creek. Winter 2003. 

Oakdale Road – Two-lane rural roadway improving as a three-lane urban roadway from Veterans Memorial Highway to Highlands Parkway. December 2002. 

Powers Ferry Road – Six-lane divided roadway construction from Interstate North Parkway to Terrell Mill Road. Summer 2001. 

Sandy Plains Road – Widening to a four-lane divided, urban roadway from Canton Highway Connector to East Piedmont Road. Fall 2001.

Stilesboro Road – Widening and reconstruction of a two-lane roadway from Mars Hill Road to Barrett Parkway. Includes widening at existing bridge over Allatoona Creek. Fall 2001. 

Robinson Road – Roswell Road to Roswell Road includes reconstruction and widening of a two-lane roadway and replacement of existing bridge at Campground Creek with a new box culvert. Fall 2001. 

Florence Road Trailhead – Includes site preparation, parking lot and building construction. Fall 2001.
